Design and manufacture of a generator paralleling control system utilizing Woodward Easygen 3000 series microprocessor controllers. The generator controls were integrated within a low voltage paralleling switchboard, also supplied by Systems Insight. The control system was integrated and tested with two CAT diesel generators in Tasmania before being shipped to Macquarie Island as a complete turn-key system. The generators are the prime power supply for the island.

Design and manufacture of a new emergency power Master Control system featuring custom-design for dual, redundant PLC controls. The new Schneider TSX-Premium PLC system was installed as an upgrade to a discontinued PLC platform. The installation required us to maintain the full availability of the emergency power plant throughout the changeover process.

Design and manufacture of a comprehensive emergency power management system, for operation of three 2 Megawatt CAT diesel generators, with facility for a fourth unit. The system included a Master Control Panel, four generator paralleling control panels, local engine interface panels, auxiliary power motor control centres and a diesel fuel transfer and recirculation control panel.

Design and manufacture of an emergency generator control system with synchronized closed transition transfer of power supplies at the main switchboard. The system features a Master Control panel, managing two generator paralleling control panels, each fitted with Woodward GCP-31 controllers. The synchronized closed transitions are operated by a custom-designed mains paralleling control panel, using Woodward LS4 controllers that are networked with the GCP generator controllers. The system operates emergency power to the building, with automatic synchronized, no-break power transfer during transitions between generator and utility mains supply.

Design and manufacture of a comprehensive emergency power management system for the air force base. The system features a custom-designed Master Control panel and three generator paralleling control panels, each fitted with Woodward EGCP-3 LS synchronizing controllers and HMI touch panels.

The system includes two Woodward EGCP-3 MC Master synchronizers that enable mains synchronizing of the generators for no-break power transfers at two separate utility feeds to the site. The project required optic fibre network communications for mains synchronizing at the primary mains utility substation, located 1.5kM from the generator control room.

New emergency generator control systems for operation of 2 x CAT 2 Megawatt diesel generator sets.

Systems Insight’s Master Control panel was installed to automatically operate and manage the backup diesel generator power supply for this critical emergency power application. Parallel operation of the diesel generators was via 2 x Paralleling control panels fitted with Woodward GCP-31 controllers. Custom design for the local generator control panels featured HMI touch panels, providing a comprehensive operator interface to each generator.
